Important Notices
  • Membership is now overdue. Players will not be allowed to play for the club if the membership isn't paid by the 31st of March. It is the responsibility of not only the players but the managers and mentors to make sure their teams are fully paid.
  • The weekly mentor meeting is on every Wednesday at 9. Garda Vetting forms need to be returned. This form is available in the Downloads section of the club website.
  • The Mini leagues are on every Saturday at 10. All welcome.


  • The winning numbers were for the last weeks club lotto were 7, 16, 17, 24 and 5, 8, 11, 16. Congratulations to Phyllis Dornan on winning the second jackpot of €5,600. Lotto Jackpot this Thursday is €6,000 and €200, a yearly subscription to the lotto is available, payable in one go or by standing order. The standing order form is available on the club website.
  • Live Music from 'Flashbacks' this Sunday (Mother's Day) from 6 to 8.
  • Champions League football Tuesday and Wednesday on the big screen in the club. Reduced member's prices until closing
  • The annual dinner dance is Friday the 22nd of March in the Marine Hotel. Tickets are 30 euro and can be purchased from Aubrey Doran 087 9126611 and George Tyndall 087 2400569. Tickets are limited so book them early.
  • Our neighbouring soccer club Kilbarrack United are having a Strictly Come Dancing Event on the 8th of March in the Regency Hotel. Our very own James Nolan and Brian Fitzgerald are participating. The judging of the event is largely based on the audience so in order for one of them to win, they will need our support.
  • There will be a cake sale on Saturday morning in Barróg as a fundraiser for the girls Feile team. Please support.
  • The O'Kelly School of Dance will be performing in the club house on St. Patrick's Night
  • Lots of events being organised for March. Keep an eye on the club website and Facebook for more details.

  • Well done to the Inter and Junior C footballers on their cup wins over the weekend.
  • Great win for the under 14 camogie team
  • Hard luck to the minor footballers and their new manager Anthony Cooke who lost by a late goal in their first league game against O'Tooles 
  • Hard luck to the under 14's who lost by 3 points to Na Fianna in Division 1. Final Score 4-4 to 3-10.
  • The U11's had their 1st Blitz of 2013 in Portmarnock on Sunday. They played 2 strong Na Fianna sides, losing 2-0 to 1-0 in the 1st game and winning the 2nd game 2-1 to 0-0. Scorers on the day were Katie Ryder with 1-1 and Ellen Butler with 2-0. Brilliant display from all the girls but especially from Katie Gravestock in her 1st competitive blitz.

  • The over 40's social football was enjoyed by all on Friday night. They picked up a draw against Beann Eadair. Contact Dick Fields 087 6322746 if interested.
  • This weekend saw a lot of clashes in fixtures at the adult level. Well done tho the management teams who worked together, with significantly reduced numbers, to fulfill all the fixtures. Hopefully this team work continues throughout the year and brings success to the club in the future.
