Important Notices

• A big push was made this week to get all the membership paid. Thanks to all the players and managers that helped collect this money. Still a few members with money outstanding. Membership forms available on the website.

• The weekly mentor meeting is on every Wednesday at 9. Each team should have at least one mentor representing their team at this meeting.

• Mini Leagues every Saturday at 10. All welcome.


• The winning numbers for last week's club lotto were 7, 14, 16, 20 and 2, 3, 20, 22. The big prizes weren't won. Next week's jackpots are 6,000 and 1,200 euro. A yearly subscription to the club lotto is available online.


• The club are hosting a games night on Friday the 19th of April. The night will include a FIFA tournament on the big screen, killer pool competitions, darts competitions and much more. Signup sheet behind the bar for the FIFA tournament.

• Music from "Karl Philips" this Saturday the 13th of April.

• The Girls Football and Hurling Féile teams are being presented with their new kits this Friday in the club. All welcome.

• Music from "Full Moon" on the 20th of April and "Tickle your Fancy" on the 27th of April.

• The annual golf classic will take place Friday the 28th of June in the K Club. It costs 320 euro per team. This includes dinner after your golf at the K Club and a free drink back in Naomh Barróg for our presentation which promises to be a good night with some live music. To book your tee off time contact Joe Potter at 087 2735205 or Tony Canning at 087 4196340. We will also be looking for local businesses to sponsor the tee boxes and holes with their company being advertised on the day and included in our brochure. • Naomh Barróg are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a month of tribute acts in May. This will take place every Saturday night and the acts include Joe Dolan, Rod Stewart, George Michael and Michael Bublé. More info to follow closer to the dates.

Match Reports

• Well done to the Senior Hurlers on picking up an away win against a strong Thomas Davis Team in the first league game of the season. Great performances from Ciaran Gallagher and Alan Maher.

• Also a great start to the season for the Junior Hurlers who beat Finbarrs in Pairc Barróg by 7 points. Stand out performances from Cathal Cannon and Cian Gleason.

• Good win for the Junior B footballers in their cup match against Clontarf. Great games from Conor Kelly, Chris Nolan and Anthony Cooke who scored the winning point from wing back.

• Great win away from home for the Under 16 Girls Football team against a previously unbeaten Castleknock.

• Well done to the under 16 hurling team on picking up a win against Faughs.

• The golf society had a very enjoyable and successful first outing of 2013 in Sutton Golf Club on Friday with 20 members playing. Next outing is on Friday the 26th of April in Lucan. New members more than welcome. Contact Joe Potter 087 2735205 or Andy Cassidy 087 2624849 if interested.

• A big thanks to all involved in the Football and Hurling Easter camps. A special thanks to Mary Therese Fields and Martin Nolan.
