Important Notices

• The mentor's meeting is this Wednesday at 9. Each team should have at least one mentor represented at this meeting.

• Mini Leagues this Saturday at 10. All welcome.


• Games Night - FIFA Tournament. The signup sheet for the FIFA Tournament taking place this Friday the 19th of April is now behind the bar. It is €5 to register your name which MUST be paid when signing up. Last chance to sign up is on Wednesday the 17th at 9PM. The format of the tournament will depend on the numbers. We will update you once they are finalised so sign up early. There will also be darts, cards and pool tournaments.

• Naomh Barróg are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a month of tribute acts in May. This will take place every Saturday night and the acts include Joe Dolan, Rod Stewart, George Michael and Michael Bublé. More info to follow closer to the dates.

• Live music from "Full Moon" on the 20th of April and "Tickle your Fancy" on the 27th of April.

• The annual golf classic will take place Friday the 28th of June in the K Club. It costs 320 euro per team. This includes dinner after your golf at the K Club and a free drink back in Naomh Barróg for our presentation which promises to be a good night with some live music. To book your tee off time contact Joe Potter at 087 2735205 or Tony Canning at 087 4196340. We will also be looking for local businesses to sponsor the tee boxes and holes with their company being advertised on the day and included in our brochure. • Well done to the Under 14 Footballers on a great win over Naomh Fionnbarra, 5-11 to 2-7.

• Congratulations to the Under 16's on winning their championship match against St. Marks. 2 points down at half time they fought back to win by 12 points. Final score 4-11 to 1-8. Well done to all involved.

• Well done to the u14 girls who competed in the 2013 Dublin Football Féile. They all played very well and where great ambassadors for Naomh Barróg. Big thanks to all players, parents and sponsors (Quay Logistics, Prior Stainless, BMW, Carpentry, GC Taxation, Co-op Taxis, Coastal Resorts, Supreme and 5 Star Auto Valet) who made a very memorable and fun day.

• Congratulations to the Under 8 Camogie team who continue their unbeaten streak winning all three matches in their blitz.

• Fair play to the Junior A football team on picking up an away draw against St Peregrines.

• Well done to the Under 11 girls who beat Raheny by 3 goals. Brilliant displays by Caitlin Murphy who scored 2 goals and Ciara Moriarty in the centre of defence. Great start to the season, winning their first 2 league games.

• Great performance by the Under 10's v Sylvesters who claimed victory in 3 hard fought hurling matches

• The under 16's girls football continue their unbeaten run with a big win over Clontarf.

• The ticket book for the National Football League Final Dublin v Tyrone on Sunday the 28th of April is behind the bar.

• Congratulations to Fingal winning the 3a league final and securing promotion in the league for next year. Well done to the 4 Barróg players that were involved, Niall Ring, Dean Flood, Aidan Kirwan and Adam Rooney.

• There will be a family day on Saturday the 8th of July coinciding with the last day of the Football Summer Camp. Please contact Liam Byrne 087 7768756 if interested in joining the committee to organise this event.
