Important Notices

• The mentor's meeting is this Wednesday at 9. Each team should have at least one mentor represented at this meeting.

• Mini Leagues this Saturday at 10. All welcome.


• The winning numbers for the last week's club lotto were 7, 16, 17, 24 and 2, 13, 15, 23. The big prizes weren't won. Next week's jackpots are 6,000 and 1,600 euro. A yearly subscription to the club lotto is available online.


• Games Night was enjoyed by all. Well done to Ciaran Beresford on winning the FIFA Tournament.

• Naomh Barróg are hosting a month of tribute acts in May. This will take place every Saturday night and the acts include Joe Dolan, Rod Stewart, George Michael and Michael Bublé. More info to follow closer to the dates.

• Live music from "Tickle your Fancy" on the 27th of April.

• The annual golf classic will take place Friday the 28th of June in the K Club. It costs 320 euro per team. This includes dinner after your golf at the K Club and a free drink back in Naomh Barróg for our presentation which promises to be a good night with some live music. We will also be looking for local businesses to sponsor the tee boxes and holes with their company being advertised on the day and included in our brochure. Match Reports

• Hard luck to the Senior and Junior Hurlers who narrowly lost their championship matches this weekend.

• Well done to the over 40's on beating Clontarf by a point. Man of the match performance came from Ronnie Ryan.

• The under 14 hurlers had their first win in Division 1 against Whitehall. Fantastic comeback coming from 9 points behind in the last 10 minutes to win 4-4 to 2-9. Standout performances from Jason Byrne and Jason Moriarty who scored two goals each. Chris Torsney had a great game in full back also.

• Well done to the U 13 hurling team who beat Faughs 4:8 to 1:4 in Tymon North last Saturday, with Conor Hickey scoring 3 of the goals. Excellent all round team performance.

• Great progress being shown by the Under 10's with notable contributions by Harry Nolan, Ben Delaney and Mark Sheridan vs St Brigids.

• 3 out of 2 for the Under 11 camogie team. The girls won 6-0 to 1-1 against CBC St. Kevins in Dolphins Barn. Outstanding display from all the girls but particularly Saoirse O'Neill and Katie Gravestock who scored a goal each. The other goal scores were Ellen Butler, Katie Ryder and Tara Murphy with 2 goals.

Other News

• The ticket book for the National Football League Final Dublin v Tyrone on Sunday the 28th of April is behind the bar.

• The Golf Societies next outing is in Lucan on Friday the 26th of April. Tee times between 1 and 2:30. The time sheet is behind the bar. Outstanding subscriptions are due. Please let Joe Potter know if you can or cannot make it.

• There will be a family day on Saturday the 8th of July coinciding with the last day of the Football Summer Camp. Please contact Liam Byrne 087 7768756 if interested in joining the committee to organise this event.

• Congratulations to Sophie McSweeney from u16s girls football who was part of the u15 Santa Sabina squash team who won the Leinsters.
