Important Notices

• The mentor's meeting is this Wednesday at 9. Each team should have at least one mentor represented at this meeting.

• Mini Leagues this Saturday at 10. All welcome.


• The winning numbers for the last week's club lotto were 2, 10, 15, 24 and 5, 13, 16, 24. The big prizes weren't won. Next week's jackpots are 6,000 and 1,800 euro. A yearly subscription to the club lotto is available online.


• Naomh Barróg are hosting a month of tribute acts in May. The Joe Dolan Tribute show is the first of the acts which takes place in the club this Saturday. The other acts include Rod Stewart, George Michael and Michael Bublé.

• Live music this Bank Holiday Sunday from "East Coast" There will be no cover charge.

• The annual golf classic will take place Friday the 28th of June in the K Club. It costs 320 euro per team. This includes dinner after your golf at the K Club and a free drink back in Naomh Barróg for our presentation which promises to be a good night with some live music. We will also be looking for local businesses to sponsor the tee boxes and holes with their company being advertised on the day and included in our brochure. Match Reports

• Well done to the Inter Footballers on winning their 2 league games last week. A one point away victory against Finbarrs and a convincing 3-14 to 0-7 home win against St Marks. Goals coming from Mick McCarthy, Richie Timmons and David O'Mahony.

• Hard luck to the over 40's on losing to Beann Éadair by a point.

• Well done the the Under 16's on winning their Championship Quarter Final against Lucan by 4 points. Well done to all involved. Stand out performances from Mark Fogarty, Donnacha Bultler, Conor Gibson and Jake Garnett who scored 7 points. Everyone in the club wishes them the best of luck in the semis this Saturday at home against Craobh Chiaráin.

• Hard luck to the Under 14 Camogie team who competed in the Féile at the weekend. They won their first match well but it wasn't to be. They all played great and were a credit to our club.

• Well done to the Under 12 hurlers who had a big win against Ballyboden 11-5 to 0-1. Great team spirit shown by all the lads and thanks to the second team players who showed up.

• Good win for the Under 16 Girls against league leaders and previously unbeaten team Scoil Ui Chonnail. Barróg 2-6 Scoil 2-3.

Other News

• There will be a family day on Saturday the 8th of July coinciding with the last day of the Football Summer Camp. Please contact Liam Byrne 087 7768756 if interested in joining the committee to organise this event.

• The Under 14 Boys are collecting bags of old clothes as a fundraiser for the Feile. Bags can be left at the club with Mick or Aubrey.

• Table quiz Tuesday the 30th of April in the club. All funds going to the Maranatha Zambian Project. Table of 4 for €30.
