Important Notices


· Congratulations to the under 14 Hurling team on winning the Division 2 Féile. Great performances all weekend but especially in the final against Raheny where they won 2-11 to 2-3 in front of a large crowd of Barróg supporters. This is a fantastic achievement for the club. Well done Dean, John, the rest of the management team and players.


· The mentor's meeting is this Wednesday at 9.


· Mini Leagues this Saturday at 10. All welcome.


· The contact for the club physio will be Tony Manton 087 7729492 while George Tyndall is recovering from his broken leg.




· The winning numbers for the last week's club lotto were 7, 12, 13, 20 and 7, 14, 15, 21. The big prizes weren't won. Next week's jackpots are 6,000 and 2,400 euro.




· The Champions league final will be shown on the big screen this Saturday. Drink promotions include 4 bottles of Heineken for €10. This is followed by the last of our tribute acts which is Michael Bublé. All welcome.


· The next poker night is the 31st of May.


· There will be a presentation for the Under 21 Hurlers in the club on the 1st of June.


· The annual golf classic will take place Friday the 28th of June in the K Club. It costs 320 euro per team. To book your tee off time contact Joe Potter at 087 2735205. We will also be looking for local businesses to sponsor the tee boxes and holes with their company being advertised on the day and included in our brochure. Match Reports


· Disappointing result against Kilmacud in the Senior B Hurling Championship. Great individual displays from Sean Cleary, Ciarain Gallagher and Nathan Kidd.


· Good win in the championship for the junior hurlers. Goals from Tom Mulryan (2), Chris Manton, Alan O Driscoll and Kevin Higgins sealed a convincing victory.


· Hard look on the minor hurlers losing by a single point in a hard fought game against Cuala. Great performances from Luke Nolan, Nathan Kidd & Seadhna Ryan. Thanks to the U16s players and management for helping out and making the team possible.


· U13 camogie had a great win against Whitehall.


· U8 camogie continued their fantastic progress in a blitz.


· The under 14 girls had a great win against Ballyboden on Friday.


Other News


· Dublin v Carlow / Westmeath on Saturday the 1st of June at 7. The ticket book closes behind the bar this Thursday.


· The Golf Society's next outing is in Elm Green on Friday the 24th of May. Tee Times 1PM to 2:30PM. It cost 30 euro and the time sheet is now behind the bar.


· Congratulations to Hannah Cosgrave and Aoife Ryder who travelled to Cork with the U13 Dublin camogie development squad and both were a credit to the club.


· Congratulations to David and Lisa McCormack on the birth of their baby boy Shay James McCormack yesterday.


· The club wishes to extend our deepest sympathies to the Kiernan family on the death of Janet Kiernan.
