Important Notices

• Family day is this Saturday the 6th of July. We are having a cake sale and all support in baking a cake will be very welcome. Finals and presentation of the Football Summer Camp between 10 and 1.30. Family day starts at 2. There will be music, Irish Dancing, games and alot more. All welcome.

• Social Membership is now due. Please find the renewal form in the Membership section of the website.

• Good luck to our Junior Hurlers who will be competing in their championship quarter final this Thursday. All support needed.

• The mentor's meeting this Wednesday at 9.


• Congratulations to Joe Potter on winning the club lotto last week. Next week's jackpot is 3,600 euro.


The annual golf classic was a big success. The course and the weather was great. Congratulations to the winning team from Gaelscoil Mide, captained by Justin Mac Carthaigh. Thanks to all players, sponsors and the people who helped out to make the day and the night back in the club enjoyable for all.

Match Reports

• Hard luck to our 3 junior teams who all lost in Championship this week.

• Well done to the Inter footballers who continued their great run, picking up another 2 wins in the league.

• Well done to the U12 Girls who finished runners up in Division 1 of the Ger Canavan tournament. Narrowly beaten by Na Fianna in the final. All the girls played great but special mention to Lucy King who won player of the tournament.

• Well done to the U13 hurling team who played in the division 2, PJ Troy competition, in Tymon North, last Saturday. Naomh Barróg player of the tournament was Eoin Hart. Thanks to Sharon and St Jude's for hosting and providing lunch on the day.

• U14 camogie and U14 hurling teams are playing teams from Co. Down on Sunday 7th July. Time to be confirmed. All support needed.

• The Under 12 footballers finished well with 2 wins. The Barróg B team 4-8 Castleknock 4-7 The Barróg A team 3-8 St Pats 0-9. Thanks to all mentors and parents and most of all the players for their input, from Brian Hart. The Caimant starts this Wednesday the 3rd in Pairc Barróg. We need all support for our hurlers.

• Kilbarrack United have invited Naomh Barróg to compete in an over 35 soccer match on the 7th of July. Anyone interested in playing contact Tony Manton 087 772 9492 as soon as possible.

• Ticket Book for the Leinster Hurling and Football Finals now at Bar. Requests for tickets for Hurling Final must be in by Tuesday the 2nd of July and for the Football Final by next Sunday. Please act promptly.

• Best wishes to John Ansley for a speedy recovery from a serious shoulder injury while playing for our AFL 10 team on Sunday.

• Naomh Barróg are pleased to announce that we will be having a Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser this November. We need volunteers. Please contact John Flynn on 086 823 6002 if interested.

• Well done to Dean Flood who competed in the Beann Eadair Poc fada competition and finished second.
