Important Notices

  • Family day was a big success. We hope everyone had a great day. A big thank you to all that helped out. It is much appreciated. 
  • A big thank you to Martin Nolan and Terry Keogh in coordinating a very successful Football Camp. Thanks to all the registrars, Paul Carroll, Cathy Byrne, Frank Downey, Pat Kenny and Alan Martin and all that helped out in the shop. Thanks to Dublin Footballer Ger Brennan for his visit to the camp. 
  • There are still plenty of places left for the Advanced Summer Camp. Information and Application Form can be found on the club website. We urge anyone interested to apply as soon as possible. The advanced camp fee has now been reduced from 70 to 50 euro. 
  • Social Membership is now due. Please find the renewal form in the Membership section of the website. 


  • The winning numbers for the last weeks club lotto were 6, 9, 15, 17. Next week's jackpot is 3,800 euro. 


  • Live music from The Covers this Saturday the 13th of July. The Covers are another new band for the club. We hope everyone enjoys the music and has a great night. 
  • Music from East Coast on Saturday the 20th of July. 
  • Games night is back Friday the 26th of July. This was a great night last time. Pool, Darts, FIFA. Get your name down for the FIFA tournament behind the bar. All welcome. 

Match Reports

  • Hard win dug out by the senior hurlers against Vincent's. Dean flood in top form. Super display from first year minor Nathan Kidd. Six out of six wins so far. We urge underage mentors to bring their teams down to watch our next two home matches against Commercials and Sylvesters on the 17th and 20th of July. 
  • Well done to the Junior Hurlers who won their championship quarter final against Commercials 0-14 to 1-7. Great performances all round. Stand out performances from Kevin Higgans, Aidan Collins and Paul McLoughlin. 
  • Well done to the Ladies Football team who have won all 4 of their games in the last 3 weeks. Keep that good run going.

Other News

  • Tickets for the Dublin v Meath Leinster Final will be available for those who ordered then on Wednesday and Thursday evening this week from 8pm in the clubhouse. 
  • Naomh Barróg are pleased to announce that we will be having a Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser this November. We need volunteers. Please contact John Flynn on 0868236002 if interested. 
  • Congratulations to the Dublin Senior Hurling team on winning the Leinster title.
