Important Notices

· Mini Leagues is on every Saturday at 10.

· Mentors' meeting is on every Wednesday at 9.

· Barróg are having a guess the score competition for the All Ireland Football Final between Dublin and Mayo. The main prize is a signed Dublin Jersey. All teams need to make a big effort to raise vital funds for the club. Score cards need to be returned to their coordinators by Saturday.




· The Lotto jackpot was not won. The winning numbers were 2, 6, 9, and 12. Next weeks' jackpot is 5,400 euro.




· This Saturday we will be showing the 2011 All Ireland Final at 9PM to get everyone ready for the final on Sunday. This is followed by live traditional Irish music.

· The Final will be on the big screen on Sunday. Anyone not lucky enough to get a ticket can come down and support the Dubs in Barróg. Trad, folk and ballad music from Blank Bank Folk and Rigmarol after the game.

· Naomh Barróg are hosting a Strictly Come Dancing night on the 2nd of November in the Regency Hotel. Tickets are available from all the dancers, the organising committee and behind the bar. Tickets are 20 euro. This is a massive fundraiser for the club so all support would be appreciated. Follow the dancers' progress on the Facebook event page


Match Reports


· Well done to the inter footballers on beating St. Sylvesters 2-8 to 0-10. This was a big step towards winning the league and promotion back into division 2. Goals from Dean Flood and Darren McGhee.

· Hard luck to U12 Hurlers who lost to St. Vincents. Great performance by Luke Stewart who had some great puck outs. Well done to Dean McCabe who had a great game in the B match against Kilmacud Crokes.

· Fantastic effort from U10's v Castleknock with great skill shown by Eoin Carroll, Alex Flood and Emmett Mythen.

· The u14 hurlers had a great win against Kilmacud Crokes 5-10 to 1-2 in division 1. Standout performances from Aidan Pepper and Kevin Boland.

· The U14 Girls football team had a great win against Ballyboden. Girls gave it everything and played with great skill and teamwork.


Other News


· The Draw for All Ireland Final Tickets will take place in the Clubhouse on Wednesday at 8pm. The number of tickets available to the club is limited so those who enter the draw must be patient and understanding.

· Ciaran Kenny on behalf of the club would like to say a special thank you to all the companies that have supported our advertising campaign over the last year.
