Important Notices


· 3 weeks until Naomh Barróg Strictly Come Dancing. It is on Saturday the 2nd of November in the Regency Hotel. Tickets are available from all the dancers, the organising committee and behind the bar. Tickets are 20 euro. This is a massive fundraiser for the club so all support would be appreciated. Limited tickets available so get them quick.



· Mentors' meeting is on every Wednesday at 9. All teams to be represented.


· Mini Leagues every Saturday at 10.




· The Lotto jackpot was won. The winning numbers were 5, 6, 9, 24. Next weeks' jackpot is 1,000 euro.




· Live music from Monroe this Saturday the 19th of October.


· Live Music from the Wavers on Saturday the 26th of October


Match Reports


· Congratulations to the U14 hurlers who had a great win against St Vincents 1-8 to 0-8 and have retained Division 1 status for next season. Man of the match was Conor McLoughlin. Chris Dunne came on at half time and scored the winning goal. Special mention for captain Jason Byrne who played with a sprained ankle and scored 5 points.


· Good result for U16s v St Anne's in Bohernabreena shield. They won the semi-final 5-6 to 2-3 - great effort by all 18 players involved.


· The U9 boys had a very successful weekend competing in 2 hurling blitzes winning 8 out of 10 matches.


· Well done to the U13 hurling team who beat Fingallians in the league last Saturday. 3 goals from Adam Kenny, 2 goals from Brendan Kelly and good performances from Conor Hickey and Liam O'Brien.


· Well done to over 40s social football team on winning both matches against Beann Eadair and Fingallians to win the blitz. Great performances all round.


· U10's had a great battle with Lucan Sarsfields, leaders on the day were Cuan Whelan, Christian Agemoh & Sean Gallagher.


· The U14 girls football team had a great win in their semi-final on Sunday


Other News


· Congratulations to Anthony Cooke and Annemarie Boland who got engaged last week.


· Good luck to the Junior Hurlers in their last league game of the season this Sunday against Thomas Davis. A win put them in a promotion playoff. All support needed.


· The Club AGM will be on Tuesday the 3rd of December. All Full members should make an effort to attend. Nominations for Executive and motions will have to be in to me by 11th November


· The Junior B players and management would like to thank John Kilmurray, who is stepping down from management, for the time, effort and years of hard work he has put into the team.
