Important Notices

  • Only 2 weeks until Naomh Barróg Strictly Come Dancing. It is on Saturday the 2nd of November in the Regency Hotel. Tickets are available from all the dancers, the organising committee and behind the bar. Tickets are 20 euro. This is a massive fundraiser for the club so all support would be appreciated. Limited tickets available so get them quick. 
  • Mentors’ meeting is on every Wednesday at 9. All teams to be represented. 
  • Mini Leagues every Saturday at 10. 


  • The Lotto jackpot was not won. The winning numbers were 1, 18, 21, 23. Next weeks’ jackpot is 1,200 euro. 


  • Live music from Weavers this Saturday the 26th of October. 

Match Reports

  • Congratulations to the Intermediate Footballers who won their B Championship Quarter Final against Ballymun Kickhams 2-12 to 1-13. Goals from Mick McCarthy and Darragh McGhee. Semi Final next Saturday against St Margarets in Pairc Barróg at 4PM. All supports needed. 
  • Well done to under 12 B-team great win against Castleknock 3-6 to 2-4. Barróg showed great team work in the second half. Stand out performance from goal keeper Sean Kelly and half back Sean Alexander. Well done to the lads for support on the sideline and thanks to everyone for their input. 
  • Massive turnout for U10's in a blitz at Parnells with some fine football and great displays from Andrew Keegan, Mark Sheridan and Tadgh Cleary. 
  • The under 14's secured promotion to Division 2 Football next year with a 6-7 to 1-7 win over Balinteer in their league semi final on Saturday. Outstanding performances from Jack McGahey, Aaron Gorman, Keith Conroy and Jason Byrne. 
  • Hard luck to the U13 Camogie team who were narrowly beaten in their championship final. John Mannion would like to say a huge thank you to all the girls on the U13 camogie team who showed great spirit and determination in their championship final yesterday . They just came up short on the day but never once did anyone of them give up till the final whistle. Its been a pleasure, roll on next season. Also a huge thanks for all the support on the day.
  • Well done to the Under 16's who had a great win over Castleknock. Final score 2-14 to 1-6. Stand out performances from Alex Cosgrove and Jake Garnett. 

Other News

  • The Annual Mass for our deceased Members will be celebrated in the Clubhouse on Saturday November 16th at 7 30 pm. All members and families of deceased members are most welcome. 
  • Good luck to the Club Chairman Liam Byrne in the Dublin City Marathon this weekend.
  • Good luck to the U16 hurlers in the B Hurling Championship Shield Final at 3 pm on Saturday in Barróg against St. Brigids.
  • The Club AGM will be on Tuesday the 3rd of December. All Full members should make an effort to attend. Nominations for Executive and motions will have to be in to me by 11th November
