Important Notices

·         We hope everyone enjoyed our Strictly Come Dancing night. Congratulations to all the dancers, especially our winners Stephen Deering and Bernie Glynn. Thanks to all the sponsors, people who advertised at the event and everyone who came out to support. A special thanks to Kilbarrack United for their support.

·         No mentors' meeting this week. 

·         Mini Leagues every Saturday at 10.


·         The Lotto jackpot was not won. Next weeks’ jackpot is 1,600 euro. 


·         Live music this Saturday from East Coast

·         Soundcheque are back by popular demand on Saturday the 16th of November. Always a great night when they play in the club. All welcome

·         Well-done to 12A team. Good 5-2 to 1-2 win against Cuala. Scores from Adam Kenny, Dean McCabe, Eoin Hart and Joe Flanagan. The lads played very well and it was a good finish to league.

·         Tough assignment for the U10s vs Kilmacud but strong showing and great skill from Emmet Mythen, Daniel Keegan & Oisin Heaney in poor conditions.

·         U11 Camogie Final Blitz in Na Fianna. Played 3 games and won 3. Barróg 6-1 Na Fianna 0-0. Barróg 5-2 Raheny 0-0. Barróg 3-0 St Maurs 1-0. Scorers Ellen Butler 7-0. Aoife McLoughlin 5-0. Katie Ryder 2-1. Caitlin Murphy 1-1. Clodagh Gibson 0-1. Brilliant displays from all the girls who have progressed into a great group over 2013. Well done all.

·         Well done to the U14 girls on winning their Championship Football Final against O'Tooles. This is the girls 4th final in 4 years. Great achievement.

·         Hard luck to the Inter hurlers who narrowly lost their top of the table clash against Parnells. Final score 2-6 to 1-10. All players gave it everything. The season isn’t over yet. Big game against St Judes next Sunday in Tymon North at 11.

·         Hard luck to the Junior Hurlers who lost their first playoff game against Realt Dearg. The second playoff game is against Whitehall in two weeks.

·         Hard Luck to the U14 Boys Footballers who lost their league final against Erin's Isles 

·         Hard luck to theU16 Girls Footballers who all lost their championship final by a point after extra time.

Other News

·         The juvenile section are looking for coaches in hurling and football from U8 to U16. No experience necessary. Contact Diarmuid McHugh (0868266255) if interested. 

·         The Annual Mass for our deceased Members will be celebrated in the Clubhouse on Saturday November 16th at 7 30 pm. All members and families of deceased members are most welcome.

·         The Annual General Meeting of the Club will take place on Tuesday 3rd December at 7.30pm. Documentation has been circulated to those who have supplied email addresses. Envelopes containing the documentation are available behind the bar for all others who have paid their annual membership fee in full. Please note in accordance with a decision of the Executive Committee only those who have paid their membership fee in full will be entitled to attend the AGM. Nominations for Executive and motions have to be in to the Club Secretary by 11th November. 

·         Good luck to the Under 21 Footballers in the first round of the Championship this Saturday against Na Fianna in Collinstown Lane at 2:30
