Important Notices

  • Thanks to all who attended and all who helped out in the 40 year anniversary mass.
  • The club are having our 40th Year Anniversary Celebration Gala Dinner on Saturday the 25th of October. The venue will be Naomh Barróg. Great entertainment lined up for the night. 4 course meal. €30 a ticket. We hope everyone can make what is expected to be a fantastic evening. More details to follow soon.
  • Mentors’ meeting this Wednesday at 9pm.
  • Mini-Leagues continues this Saturday at 10am


  • Live music from Full Moon this Saturday.
  • The All-Ireland Hurling Final between Kilkenny and Tipperary will be on the big screen in Barróg this Saturday at 5pm. All welcome.
  • There is a charity quiz night on Tuesday the 30th of September in the club. €20 per table of four. More details attached.

Match Reports

  • Well done to the Minor Hurlers on their 3-15 to 3-10 win over Ballyboden in the championship on Sunday
  • A strong performance by the U6 Football team who played against a tough St Oliver Plunketts. In particular, top class man of the match performances came from Eoin McCarthy, Dara Misteal and Paraic Ryan.
  • Well done to the U14 Hurling Team who beat Clontarf 2-10 to 0-6 in the league last Saturday. Great penalty save from Adam Coulter. Michael Hart, Calvin Kearns, Ryan alexander and Luke Cantwell also excelled. Excellent all round team performance.
  • The U9 girls had great performances against Skerries Harps and Garristown.
  • Well done to the senior footballers on their 3 point win after xtra time against Erins Isles in the Intermediate B Championship. They now face the winners of Lucan or Margarets in the semi-final.

  • Naomh Barróg Golf Society had a very successful and enjoyable Captains Day at Royal Tara Golf Club in Co. Meath on Friday last. Congratulations to Andy Cassidy on winning the Captains prize and to Ronnie Ryan on being nominated the 2015 Captain by this year’s popular and successful Captain Joe Barry
  • The winning lotto numbers were 9, 16, 19 and 20. Next weeks' jackpot is €4,000.
  • The Club offers its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Raymond ‘Tonner’ Dennis who died in London on Friday.
  • Naomh Barróg wish the Dublin Ladies Team the best of luck in the final. Over 100 members are going to the match to support the Dubs.
  • Good luck to the Senior Hurlers in their crucial league game away to Castleknock at 8pm on Thursday. All support needed.
