Important Notices

  • Our gala dinner night to celebrate the 40th anniversary is almost sold out. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. The club will be closed for the evening as the event is strictly ticket only.
  • Mentors’ meeting this Wednesday at 9pm.
  • Mini-Leagues are on this Saturday at 10am.
  • The club are having a Car Boot Sale on Sunday November 2nd. More info attached.


  • The club are having a Launch night for the Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday. All the dancers will be there and we will be announcing who has been paired up with who and what dance they will be doing. The dancers don’t even know yet. Expected to be a great night. Hope to see you all there.

Match Reports

  • Well done to whole Under 12 Panel who won Dublin Division 2 hurling. Mentors Gary Flanagan and Tom Glynn delighted with the effort and commitment from all players over the year
  • Well done to the U14 Football team who beat Ballyboden St Endas in the league last Saturday. Special mention goes to Sam Leggett with an excellent first half performance.
  • Hard luck to the ladies footballers who were beaten in their cup final at the weekend. Great achievement to make it to the final. Well done to all involved.
  • Hard luck to the Junior Hurlers who lost in their championship semi-final.

Other News

  • The funeral of Jim Hart will take place this Friday at 10am in Kilbarrack / Foxfield Church.
  • Good luck to the Junior A Footballers in their away league relegation playoff against St Brigids. Throw in is 11 in Russell Park. All support needed.
  • Good luck to the 16 Hurlers in the C Championship Final against St. Judes in Blakestown at 1pm on Saturday
  • The Under 21 Championship Draw has been made. The footballers have Templeogue Synge Street. The Hurlers have Cuala B.
  • The Fixtures for this weekend are attached. All support is appreciated at all the games.
  • Premier League Last Man Standing starts 18th October all entries must be in by Thursday 16th. Entry forms behind the bar price. 10 euro per entry

Upcoming Courses

Child Protection in Sport Awareness/Code of Best Practice

Date: Thursday October 23rd at 7pm in Juvenile Room at the Club

This will be the last time this course is being run in the club. It is mandatory for all mentors that are involved with a team to take part in this course. If you have not attended this course when run in July please attend now.

Foundation Award Course

The club is running a foundation award course in football and hurling. Any mentor with a team should as a minimum have a foundation award course.

The details of the course are as follows

Friday October 31st at 7pm - Theory session to be held in Juvenile Room at the club

Saturday November 1st at 9.30am - Practical Football session to be held in St Benedict's School.

Saturday November 15th at 9.30am - Practical Hurling session to be held in St Benedict's school.
