Match Reports

  • Hard luck to the Junior A Footballers who narrowly lost to St Brigids in the AFL5 Relegation Final. Very unlucky in the end. Great team performance. Special thanks to David Byrne who is stepping down as manager.
  • Well done to the U15 girls on winning the championship for the 5th year in a row. Final score 5-5 to 0-11 against O’Dwyer's
  • Congrats to the U14 Girl Football team who won the division 3 shield beating Skerries Harps after extra time. Super gusty performance from all the girls in a match played in terrible conditions. Skerries never led throughout the entire game but drew level both at the end of normal time and in extra time. Our girls kept their heads and eventually prevailed 7-14 to 7-11 in a hugely exciting encounter.
  • Well done also to the U16 girls who were crowned Shield champions.
  • Great win for the 16 Hurlers in the Championship Final against St. Judes. Final Score 1-11 to 0-9. Man of the match performance from Brian Dennis. Josh Rooney kept a clean sheet and Cillian Costello scored the decisive goal. Others to shine were Conor Gibson, George Bodor, Carl Brady and Paul Tolan.
  • Great win for the Minor Hurlers in the Championship against near neighbours Raheny. Goals from Nathan Kidd and Donnacha Butler helped secure a decisive 2-20 to 1-11 win.
  • Great attitude and top class display of skill by the U8 Football Team who played against teams from St Finians. In particular, top class man of the match performances came from TT McLaughlin, Killian Johnston, Jack Doran and James McCabe.
  • Hard luck to the U13 Boys who lost to O’Tooles in the last minute of the game 4-5 to 3-7. The lads battled hard and showed great team spirit. Special mention to Rory McCarthy in full back and Sean Walsh in half forward. Well done to all that scored E Hart, D McCabe, J Kelly, S Wash. Keep up the hard work lads.
  • Well done to the U14 Hurling Team who beat Skerries Harps in their last match of the season on Saturday, finishing joint 3rd in division 3. Special mention goes to Sean Cleary who played very well at left half forward and to Jack Usher who played in his first ever hurling game.
