Important Notices

  • STRICTLY BARRÓG is this Saturday. Everyone has worked so hard to get their routines right for the night. Please come and support the clubs biggest fundraiser of the year. Great night Guaranteed. Tickets available at the bar.
  • We are running a bus to and from the venue. Put you name on the sheet behind the bar if interested. €12 a return ticket.
  • Thanks to all who attended the Tree planting which was a very nice and symbolic occasion.
  • Our AGM is next week Tuesday the 2nd of December in Barróg at 7:30. This is the most important meeting of the year. Please make an effort to attend. Only fully paid members are allowed to attend the AGM. The AGM report is available at the bar for any full member to take.
  • Mini leagues are on this Saturday at 10am.
  • The Christmas Draw is on December 19th. Could any team manager who has not yet got draw tickets for their team please contact Joe Potter (0872735205) to collect them.
  • The club are hosting our first ever Players and Mentors’ Forum on Wednesday the 10th of December. We hope to discuss the future or the club, what we do well and what we can improve on. It will be a chance to voice your opinion.


  • Live music from Guess Who this Saturday night in the club. Great band. All welcome
  • Players and Mentors’ Night takes place in the club on December 6th.
  • The last poker night of the year is December the 12th. The usual setup and rules. All welcome.

Match Reports

  • Well done to the U12B Team on winning their 2nd place playoff match against Clanna Gael. The whole team were brilliant.
  • The U10s with a little help from the U11s competed in and won the November Cup in Kevin’s on Sunday. It was played over two weekends instead of four due to the weather. The match of the tournament was Barróg v Judes. It was an absolute cracker. Well done to all involved.
  • Hard luck to the minor footballers who lost their Championship match against Na Fianna at the weekend.

Other News

  • The finals of the Naomh Barróg 40th Anniversary Juvenile Football Blitz are on this Saturday. All support appreciated. Well done to all involved so far.
  • The club offer their deepest condolences to the family of Paddy Byrne who passed away last week
