Important Notices

·         The family fun day takes place on Saturday July 11th from 3 til 7. This year it will be bigger and better than ever. There will be all the usual fun fair games, food, music and dancing. This year we will have a 60ft obstacle course and a rock climbing wall. Great day guaranteed. Hope you all can make it. There will be no parking on the club grounds during the Family Day. It would be appreciated if people walk down. There will be parking available in the industrial estate.

·         On the same day there will be an Under 9s, 11s and 13s football tournament between teams all over Ireland and across Europe. Good luck to all the team involved and all support appreciated. Check out the attached brochure

·         Thanks to all who came to the Cycle Information Night last Thursday. It was a great success. We now have over 35 teams participating in the Blazing Saddles Cycle on September 12th. It isn’t too late to sign up. Get in touch with any member of the committee if interested.

·         The Annual Golf Classic will take place on Friday the 31st of July in St Annes Golf Club. €300 for a team of four. Contact Andy Cassidy 0872614849 to enter your team.


·         Live music from a ballad group this Saturday from 7:30 to 10PM called The Ramblers.

·         Live music from Time Machine in the club this Saturday. All welcome.

 Match Reports

·         Great win for the ladies football team who beat Kilmacud 3-9 to 2-11. 7 points down at one stage and going on to win by a point. Well done to all involved.

·         Well done to the Junior A Football Team who have won three games in a row beating Castleknock in St Annes Park on Sunday. Final score 2-14 to 3-5. Goals from Cathal Cannon and Luke Nolan.

·         Well done to the U15 Football team who beat Na Fianna 5-13 to 2-3 in the league last Thursday evening. Thanks to the U14s for supporting them on the night.

Other News

·         Good luck to all the boys and girls participating in the Football Summer Camp this week. Next week is the Hurling Camp.

·         Tickets for the Leinster Football Final Dublin v Westmeath are available to collect in the club on Thursday between 8PM and 10PM.

·         Good luck to the Senior Hurlers in their Championship match against Sylvesters on Wednesday at 7:30 on Craobh Chiaráin’s pitch. All support needed.

·         Good luck to the ladies footballers who play Raheny in championship this Wednesday at 7:30 in St Annes. All support appreciated.

·         There is now a full range of the very popular Marley training tops available in the club shop. Prices are €30 for juvenile sizes and €40 for adult sizes.
