Important Notices

·         Attached is the Coaching and Games Booklet for 2016. Dates for all the coaching courses and workshops are included.

·         This year’s AGM will take place on the 9th December. Make sure you are available to attend. This is the most important club meeting of the year.

·         Mini leagues this Saturday at 10AM. Not too late to join if you haven’t done so already.


·         Live music from Icon Band this Saturday. All welcome.

·         Music from a Beatles tribute Band Saturday week.

Match Reports

·         Excellent win for a severely depleted senior hurling team v Round Towers. Battling team performance all round which guarantees home advantage in the promotion playoffs. Man of the match Cillian Costello with 11 points.

·         Congrats to the minor footballers who have qualified for the championship quarter-finals.

·         Great win for the minors ladies in their championship semi-final yesterday against Scoil Uí Chonaill. The final is on the 31st October against Lucan.

·         Well done to U15 Girls who had a great win in their championship semi-final. Naomh Barrog 10-6, Garristown 2-7. Special mention to Lucy Murphy who scored the first championship points and goals into the magnificent new goals in Pairc Barróg.

·         Hard luck to the U14 Girls Football team who got beaten in their championship semi-final by Man O’War. Erica Murphy was outstanding.

·         Great game of hurling from U12's vs Castleknock and had to dig deep to hold on to win by a point, great goal from Sean Elliott & expert marksmanship from Tadgh Cleary.

·         Great win for the U13 footballers against Westmanstown. Great performance from all.

·         Congrats to the U13 B Hurling team who won their league.

·         Still collecting outstanding monies from the Blazing Saddles Fundraiser. Contact Tadgh Foley or John Flynn.

·         Well done to Conor Ryan, Reuben Cantwell, Joe Flanagan and Liam Glynn who played for Dublin U13 hurling team against Cork in Cork on Sunday.

·         The lotto is a massive €9,800 this week. Please support the club lotto.

·         Our deepest condolences go to Andy Cassidy and the Cassidy family of the passing of his mother Rita.

·         Congratulations to John Flynn and Aoife Carroll who got married last week.
